Pepelu: “We are on the right path”

Valencia CF won their game against Granada CF at Mestalla thanks to a Pepelu goal from the penalty spot, and the midfielder spoke after his Man Of The Match performance.

Victory through persistence 

After the draw against Athletic we had this match in our sights. We were able to get the win, although it was not our best showing, and we took the three points.

Managing the lead

Granada came here to play their game and played very well, but we took the lead and we also have to b able to manage a lead. At Mestalla we are strong and we are on the right path.

Scoring from the spot
Despite not scoring a free kick I had, I was able to convert the penalty. The team have confidence in me. I'm happy because it meant we got the three points.
